Job Title:

Full Time Banking Reconciliation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Banking Reconciliation Officer to join our Finance Team. The role requires experience working in a multi-site retail business with complex banking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

– Reconciliation of all bank accounts for the business
– Process daily transactional data from retail point of sales system
– Process and code all manual banking transactions
– Investigate and resolve banking anomalies, by engaging with stakeholders
– Ensure all unallocated items are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
– Identify, document and escalate any banking related operational issues that do not meet company expectations

Requirements:

To be successful, you will have:

– Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
– Experience with Great Plains or a similar sized integrated ERP system will be highly regarded
– Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
– Strong numerical skills
– Highly organized, good time management and prioritization skills
– Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
– Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
– Proven skills using your initiative and being proactive
– Ability to understand and resolve issues
– Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
– Consistent ability to meet deadlines
