Expert Financial Reconciliation Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented and organized professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced Banking Reconciliation Officer to join our team.

This role requires a strong background in finance, with experience working in a multi-site retail business with complex banking systems. The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Experience with Great Plains or a similar sized integrated ERP system
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Reconciling Australian and International bank accounts
  • Processing daily transactional data from retail point of sales systems
  • Processing and coding all manual banking transactions
  • Investigating and resolving banking anomalies, by engaging with stakeholders
  • Ensuring all unallocated items are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Identifying, documenting and escalating any banking related operational issues that do not meet company expectations
