Leading the Defence ICT Practice

The successful candidate will spearhead the development and expansion of a Defence ICT practice, driving growth and ensuring successful project delivery to Defence clients.

This role offers an opportunity to lead a function, build a team, and drive business growth while remaining hands-on in delivery.

A balance of practice leadership, client engagement, business development, and direct program delivery is required.

The ideal candidate will take responsibility for shaping and expanding the firm's Defence ICT capability, working across established panel arrangements such as the ICTPA.

The selected candidate will have autonomy to lead, influence, and create a legacy while contributing to high-impact Defence programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow the Defence ICT practice
  • Build and manage strong client relationships within Defence and associated stakeholders
  • Oversee delivery of projects, ensuring quality outcomes and compliance with panel arrangements like ICTPA
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team
  • Contribute to strategy and business development within Defence and Government
  • Maintain a balance of leadership responsibilities and hands-on delivery

To be successful, the candidate must possess extensive experience in Defence ICT projects, either consulting or direct.

The ideal candidate will have proven ability to win and deliver work through panel arrangements (ICTPA experience highly desirable).

They will also need strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

NV1/NV2/TSPV clearance is mandatory for this position.
