Lead Defence ICT Consultant

About this role:

We are seeking a senior leader to establish and expand our Defence ICT practice. This is a unique opportunity to lead a function, build a team, and drive growth while remaining hands-on in delivery.

You will take responsibility for shaping and expanding the firm's Defence ICT capability, working across established panel arrangements such as the ICTPA. The role requires a balance of practice leadership, client engagement, business development, and direct program delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and growth of the Defence ICT practice
  • Building and managing strong client relationships within Defence and associated stakeholders
  • Overseeing delivery of projects, ensuring quality outcomes and compliance with panel arrangements such as ICTPA
  • Helping recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
  • Contributing to strategy, business development, and winning work within Defence and Government

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in Defence ICT projects, either consulting or direct
  • Demonstrated success in practice or business unit leadership
  • Proven ability to win and deliver work through panel arrangements (ICTPA experience highly desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • NV1/NV2/TSPV clearance
  • A strategic mindset combined with a willingness to remain close to delivery
