About Palliative Care South East (PCSE)

We provide palliative care in the south east metropolitan region of Melbourne. Our specialist palliative care services are provided to people of all ages, free of charge, in several Local Government areas.

The Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing our community presence and reputation through community engagement and outreach initiatives.

You will oversee the volunteer program, coordinating, evaluating, and improving it to build strong relationships and partnerships within the community. Additionally, you will elevate our profile through community fundraising and events, focusing on project managing fundraising strategies and delivering on goals. You will collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to build enduring partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and evaluate the volunteer program

* Develop impactful communications and create content for various channels

* Manage fundraising strategies and events

* Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders

* Project manage community-based fundraising activities and logistics

Requirements

* Previous experience in program coordination or management

* Demonstrated experience in program development and review

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop long-term relationships

* Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and settings

* Proven experience in project management and community fundraising

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Computer literacy and ability to work autonomously
