Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Community Outreach Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community support network, you will play a crucial role in connecting people with varying support needs.

About the Role:

  • You will provide comprehensive information and navigation support across various service systems.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate programs to uplift community outcomes with a focus on inclusion, access, and equity.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including colleagues, organizations, and community members.
  • Address complex community issues using an intersectional approach.
  • Maintain up-to-date information about relevant services on our Service Navigation webpage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant degree or tertiary qualifications in social sciences, health, community development, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record in working with people with complex needs and an understanding of different abilities, cultures, and socio-economic circumstances.
  • In-depth understanding of service systems related to ageing, disability, mental health, community, and wellbeing services.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
