Community Outreach Specialist

This role plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of engagement and communications activities. It ensures that our communities and stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and appropriate information about projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to developing and implementing project and community communication strategies
- Provide support and advice to key stakeholders and communities for the Communications and Engagement Branch and broader organization
- Proactively identify and respond promptly to community issues relating to key projects
- Develop mitigation strategies in consultation with senior managers as required
- Maintain the enquiries inbox and assist in providing timely and accurate responses
- Contribute to the maintenance of the Branch forward planner
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in community outreach and engagement
