Key Role in Agricultural Operations

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the success of our agricultural operations.

About the Position

The successful candidate will coordinate and execute daily production activities to ensure targets are met, quality standards are upheld, and operational efficiency is maintained.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing company policies, including WHS Management System, Quality Assurance Programme, GMP, and HACCP Food Safety System.
  • Assisting and monitoring the daily production schedule to meet operational goals and quality standards.
  • Coordinating logistics to ensure efficient operations.
  • Managing staffing levels to meet operational requirements efficiently.
  • Conducting regular quality checks on commodities and finished goods, ensuring compliance with predetermined standards.
  • Maintaining accurate production records, including compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborating with the production team and other departments to streamline operations, resolve customer issues, and maintain inventory levels effectively.
  • Providing guidance, training, and support to the production team, fostering a positive and safe work environment.
  • Handling customer interactions with professionalism.
  • Monitoring and reporting on equipment maintenance needs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements for Success

  • Experience as a forklift operator with a valid forklift license (highly desirable).
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • HACCP and FeedSafe knowledge highly regarded.
  • Strong commitment to safety and fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Excellent communication skills with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Sound understanding of quality control principles and processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mill equipment operation/maintenance (an advantage).
