Administration & Operations Support Officer
Full-time | Based near Cecil Plains, QLD
Smart Air Services is an established aerial agricultural business servicing the Darling Downs and surrounding regions. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team in a permanent, full-time position.
This role is primarily responsible for administrative duties while also providing backup operations support to the Operations Manager. We are particularly interested in candidates with prior experience in, or a genuine interest in, the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- General business and financial administration
- Order processing for aerial chemical applications
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service
- Supporting operational and logistics tasks when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' administration experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
- The legal right to live and work in Australia
- Unrestricted open driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (daily travel to site required)
Favourable but not essential:
- Experience in the agricultural industry
- Background in transport, aviation logistics or coordination
- Proficiency in Xero (or similar accounting software)
- Forklift licence
