Production Supervisor Job Description

This role involves coordinating and executing production activities to ensure targets are met, quality standards are upheld, and operational efficiency is maintained.

  • Responsibilities include adhering to policies and procedures, assisting and monitoring the daily production schedule, coordinating logistics for efficient operations, managing staffing levels to meet operational requirements, conducting regular quality checks on commodities and finished goods, maintaining accurate production records, collaborating with the production team and other departments, providing guidance, training, and support to the production team, handling customer interactions professionally, monitoring equipment maintenance needs, supervising the receival of raw materials.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience as a forklift operator, ability to prioritize workload, HACCP and FeedSafe knowledge, strong commitment to safety, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Forklift operating experience highly desirable.
  • Able to prioritize workload effectively.
  • HACCP and FeedSafe knowledge highly regarded.
  • Strong safety focus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
