Your Role:
  • Ration allocation and commodity management involve ensuring the optimal feeding of cattle to achieve maximum growth rates and efficiency.
  • Livestock procurement and backgrounding include sourcing high-quality cattle and providing them with suitable housing and care.
  • Animal health and husbandry require monitoring the health of animals, implementing preventative measures, and performing routine checks to maintain their well-being.
  • Maintenance of plant and equipment involves ensuring the smooth operation of facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and addressing any issues that may arise.
About You:
  • We are seeking candidates with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • A degree in a relevant field is highly desirable, although not essential if the candidate can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to live and work in regional Queensland for at least one year.
