Job Title: Member Engagement Specialist

The role involves assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to improve member engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse membership data to develop targeted initiatives and operational frameworks.
  • Assist in running national workshops, including content scheduling and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Review member experiences and suggest improvements to enhance engagement.
  • Monitor and optimise systems and processes to improve efficiency and member experience.
  • Manage member requests and deliver quality service while driving tactical campaigns for member turnout.

  • Strong listening and persuasive conversation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with members.
  • Critical thinking and analysis.
  • Effective planning and coordination skills.
  • A passion for improving workers' lives and achieving union goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate processes and systems.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Member or customer retention experience.
  • Union organising experience.
  • Call centre experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and CRM expertise.

Benefits:

Salary: $77,496 per annum. The remuneration package includes superannuation and annual leave plus 25% leave loading.
