Arboriculture Trainee Opportunity

Develop a career in tree care and management as an Arboriculture Trainee.

This three-year traineeship will provide hands-on experience in pruning, rigging, tree removals, and planting. You will work with skilled professionals to maintain green spaces and shape urban environments.

As part of our Cadet, Apprentice and Traineeship (CAT) program, you will complete a Certificate III in Arboriculture course at Yallah TAFE while gaining on-the-job training. This will equip you with practical knowledge and skills necessary for working as an Arborist.

We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including school leavers, mature age individuals, and those already pursuing their Certificate III in Arboriculture. Our aim is to create a talent pipeline for specialized roles within the Open Spaces team.

The CAT program focuses on developing future leaders by offering employment opportunities and professional development experiences that complement external tertiary study. As a cadet, apprentice, or trainee, you will receive ongoing support and guidance from workplace mentors while completing a nationally recognized qualification.
