Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Arboriculture Trainee.

This exciting three-year traineeship will provide you with the opportunity to develop practical skills in tree pruning, rigging, and removals, while also completing a Certificate III in Arboriculture course at TAFE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance of green spaces and parks
  • Conduct pruning, rigging, and removals of trees
  • Gain experience in operating small plant and equipment
Training and Development:

As an Arboriculture Trainee, you will receive on-the-job training and guidance from experienced professionals. You will also complete a Certificate III in Arboriculture course at TAFE.

What We Offer:
  • Temporary full-time employment for up to 3 years
  • 38 hours per week with access to a 9-day fortnight
  • Salary range up to $838 per week
  • Plus 12% superannuation
  • On-the-job training and development opportunities
  • Compulsory course costs paid by Council
  • Approved leave to attend TAFE

  • Applicants should have a strong desire to learn and develop their skills
