**Job Overview:**

The Logistics Technical Assessor position is a critical role within the E7 Australia Wedgetail program. This individual will be responsible for providing logistics and technical support to ensure the smooth operation of the aircraft.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver logistics and technical support as directed by the Logistics Support Manager.
  • Perform daily Technical Assessor duties, including identification requests relating to new items of supply, collaboration with Defence Force Logistics Managers (ADFLMs), and unscheduled construction and maintenance of the Australian Defence Aviation Authorised Spares System (ADAASS).
  • Process data amendments/corrections within ERP and other Commonwealth Logistics Applications.
  • Act on routine Technical Substitution and undertake amendments as required.
  • Identify and log logistics requirements for Special Technical Instructions/Modifications (STIs/MODs) and Deviations.
  • Provide interrogations and interpretations of engineering technical drawings and specifications.
  • Act on unscheduled maintenance on the Hazard Materials List.
  • Review and analyse Aeronautical Defect and Deficiency Reports.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Aircraft maintenance engineer certification at the CERT IV - mechanical, avionics or structures level.
  • Ability to integrate into established teams and work in an inclusive environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
