
Aboriginal Family Violence Case Manager

About the Organisation: A respected Aboriginal community service provider supporting Aboriginal women and their children through culturally safe, holistic family violence services.
- Provides high-security refuge, outreach, housing, counselling, and court support for women navigating the justice system and those in transition or returning to community following incarceration.
About the Role: We seek experienced and passionate professionals to support Aboriginal women and children experiencing or recovering from family violence.
- Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based case management with a focus on cultural safety and justice.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety and wellbeing plans.
- Advocate for access to housing, justice support, and therapeutic services.
- Support women in or exiting the justice system to safely transition back to community.
- Provide court support and coordinate service referrals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service outcomes.
Key Selection Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in family violence or social services. Strong understanding of family violence impacts on Aboriginal women, including those involved in justice settings. Experience delivering culturally responsive and client-centred support. Capacity to work autonomously and manage priorities in a dynamic environment. Effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Victorian Driver's Licence. Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
