**Job Title:** Aboriginal Family Violence Case Manager
**Job Description**This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill, knowledge, and experience in family violence case management. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to Aboriginal women and children who have experienced family violence.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing regular and ongoing contact with clients at locations where they feel most comfortable and safe.
- Coordinating casework processes from initial contact, assessment, case planning, review, and exit planning.
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments during the initial assessment period and periodically as risks are identified or change.
- Developing and regularly reviewing comprehensive safety plans for clients.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in social work or a related field.
- Extensive experience working with Aboriginal communities and families who have experienced family violence.
- Strong knowledge of the MARAM framework and other relevant legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly in a changing environment.
