- Assisting the Head Chef in planning and directing kitchen operations
- Overseeing preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items
- Executing each station with precision and consistency
- Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Managing the pass and driving the kitchen team
- Filling in for the Head Chef during times of absence
- Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff
- Participating in menu development and costing
- Confidently managing inventory, waste, and ordering of supplies
- Monitoring prep work and production processes
- Maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes
