Lead Residential Care Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Residential Care Manager.

  • Direct a team of staff and manage resources efficiently to ensure the highest quality of life for residents.
  • Provide individualised and holistic care, meeting client needs and upholding quality of services aligned with organisational standards.
  • Accountable and responsible for financial management and achievement of business plan for the site.

As a Lead Residential Care Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, monitoring and implementing the business plan for the site.
  • Working with a strong clinical manager to ensure residents' care needs are assessed holistically and plans of care appropriate to their needs are developed and implemented.
  • Overseeing and monitoring ongoing reactive and preventative maintenance requirements for the site.
  • Managing administrative aspects of the site including accurate record keeping and providing regular and timely statistical data.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and addressing non-compliances by formulating and implementing action plans.
  • Regular communication of individual and team goals through staff appraisals and other formal or informal meetings and discussions.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manager who can make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will bring:

  • A current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of a Residential Aged Care Facility.
  • Strong knowledge of operating requirements within the Health/Aged Care Industry.
  • Ability to conduct care minutes assessments and associated financial analysis.
