
Care Home Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a Residential Aged Care setting, providing individualised and holistic care to residents. As a Residential Care Lead, you will be responsible for managing resources efficiently to ensure the highest quality of life for residents.
You will work closely with a strong clinical manager to ensure that residents' care needs are assessed in a holistic manner and plans of care appropriate to their needs are developed and implemented in consultation with the resident and their representative.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing a residential aged care facility, knowledge of operating requirements within the health/aged care industry, and the ability to conduct care minutes assessments and associated financial analysis.
In this role, your responsibilities will include site strategy, resident care, asset and site management, management of administrative aspects of the site, continuous improvement and planning, financial management, legislative compliance and continuous improvement, people and performance management, and development and maintaining of a safe and secure environment.
About You- A current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in the management of a residential aged care facility
- Strong knowledge of operating requirements within the Health/Aged Care Industry
- Ability to conduct care minutes assessments and associated financial analysis
- Knowledge of legislative and operating requirements within the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Strong experience in budget implementation and monitoring
- Demonstrated asset and site management experience
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Highly developed communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the elderly, families, staff and management
