Lead Residential Aged Care Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff to provide individualised and holistic care to residents in a residential aged care facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site strategy: Assist with the development, monitoring and implementation of the business plan for the site
  • Resident care: Work with a strong clinical manager to ensure that residents' care needs are assessed in a holistic manner
  • Asset and site management: Oversee and monitor ongoing reactive and preventative maintenance requirements for the site
  • Management of administrative aspects of the site
  • Continuous improvement and planning
  • Financial management: Ensure cost effective performance and maintain and monitor occupancy rates
  • Legislative compliance and continuous improvement: Ensure clinical policies/guidelines are in place within the facility
Requirements:
  • A current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of a Residential Aged Care Facility
  • Strong knowledge of operating requirements within the Health/Aged Care Industry
  • Ability to conduct care minutes assessments and associated financial analysis
  • Knowledge of legislative and operating requirements within the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
