Residential Manager

The key to our success lies in providing individualised and holistic care to our residents.

We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee the team at our Residential Aged Care Home, ensuring that residents' care needs are assessed and plans of care are developed and implemented in consultation with the resident and their representative.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site Strategy: Assist with the development, monitoring and implementation of the business plan for the site.
  • Resident Care: Work with a strong clinical manager to ensure that residents' care needs are assessed in a holistic manner and plans of care appropriate to their needs are developed and implemented in consultation with the resident and their representative.
  • Asset and Site Management: Oversee and monitor ongoing reactive and preventative maintenance requirements for the site.
  • Management of Administrative Aspects: Accurate record keeping and provision of regular and timely statistical data.
  • Continuous Improvement and Planning:
  • Financial Management: Cost-effective performance and maintain and monitor occupancy rates.
  • Legislative Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure clinical policies/guidelines are in place and compliance with the Aged Care Act.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of a Residential Aged Care Facility.
  • Strong knowledge of operating requirements within the Health/Aged Care Industry.
  • Ability to conduct care minutes assessments and associated financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of legislative and operating requirements within the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Strong experience in budget implementation and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated asset and site management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Highly developed communications skills.
