Job Title:

Strategic Advisor

  • Drive financial sustainability and operational excellence across government departments, local governments, and government-owned corporations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with central agencies on engagements requiring multi-agency collaboration or impacting whole-of-state fiscal or service delivery.
  2. Provide insight, analysis, and strategies to solve problems and progress opportunities.
  3. Develop program development, assessment, and delivery support; modelling and data analytics; end-to-end project management; and strategy development and planning services.
  4. Contribute directly to financial and economic outcomes for clients, stakeholders, and Queensland.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, business, economics, or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years' employment experience in roles demonstrating overall competency.
Competencies:
  • Technical Competencies: Experience in corporate finance, financial or data modelling, identification of risks.
  • Behavioural Competencies: Personal drive, integrity, and accountability.
  • Leadership & Management Competencies: Demonstrates inclusive behaviours and provides feedback to support and coach others.
