Compliance Role Overview:
The key objective of this position is to embed a robust payments industry compliance framework across all products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
This Compliance Manager will be responsible for maintaining and adhering to the compliance framework, including risk and compliance systems, to drive first-line risk enablement at an organisation-wide level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the compliance framework is up-to-date and aligned with organisational requirements.
- Providing support to product domains in managing compliance risks effectively.
- Managing payment industry reporting and audit processes to ensure on-time and accurate delivery.
- Reviewing scheme bulletins, mandates, and other regulatory updates to assess impacts and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
- Building relationships with payment industry bodies and schemes to manage waivers, data integrity outcomes, and resolve open actions promptly.
- Embedding agile working practices within product domains to ensure understanding of scheme changes and compliance activities.
- Assisting domains and clients in raising and managing issues, including internal escalation of potential scheme breaches and monitoring business actions to resolve issues.
- Managing non-compliance reviews to identify root causes and treatment actions.
- Improving compliance maturity and management through key metrics, ensuring appropriate oversight of compliance items within the domain backlog.
