Job Title: Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of compliance and risk management.

Job Description:

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain and embed the payments industry compliance framework into our products. You will work closely with our product teams to ensure that all compliance and related risks are managed effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating our compliance framework, including our risk and compliance system;
  • Supporting our product domains in relation to effective management of compliance risks;
  • Managing payment industry reporting and audit to ensure timely and accurate delivery;
  • Reviewing scheme bulletins, mandates, and other regulatory requirements to ensure we are compliant;
  • Liaising with payment industry bodies and schemes to manage waivers, data integrity outcomes, and other compliance-related matters;
  • Embedding agile ways of working within our product domains to ensure understanding of scheme changes and compliance activities;
  • Assisting our domains and clients to raise and manage issues, including internal escalation of potential scheme breaches;
  • Managing the review of any non-compliance to examine root cause and identification of treatment actions;
  • Improving compliance maturity and management through key metrics, ensuring appropriate oversight of compliance items within the Domain backlog;
  • Performing Compliance reviews to ensure adherence to key obligations, including interaction with our Auditors and oversight of our clients;

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in payments industry compliance framework, ideally in a payments or financial services environment. You will also possess strong relationship management, presentation, negotiation skills, and the ability to positively influence. Additionally, you will have a sound understanding of Compliance principles, structures, and processes within an agile environment.
