Dynamic Behaviour Change Specialist

The role of the Men's Behaviour Change Facilitator is to engage men in programmes aimed at changing their behaviour towards family and domestic violence. The facilitator will work with individuals, groups and community organisations to develop and deliver programmes that promote positive change.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate engagement with men through outreach services
- Provide individual support and referral pathways to services addressing contributing issues such as mental health and substance use
- Co-facilitate Men's Behaviour Change groups
- Engage with young people through group programs held at local youth facilities
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to safety planning
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as psychology or social work
- Previous experience in working with men who perpetrate family and domestic violence
- Experience working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and an understanding of culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
