About Our Opportunity

As a leader in our aquatic team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our lifeguards. This role requires someone who can manage and motivate their team, while maintaining a safe and professional environment.

  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of lifeguards, ensuring they are equipped to handle emergency situations.
  • Oversee staffing levels, adjusting as needed to meet operational requirements.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting across all aquatic operations.

Key Requirements

  • Conduct regular audits of lifeguards, enforcing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the leadership team.
  • Report any operational incidents to senior management and ensure prompt response.
  • Act as a member of the emergency response team, providing direction during incidents and participating in emergency response activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Educational Requirements: Essential
    • Current Working with Children Check.
    • Alive Solutions Dispatch Smart certification.
  • Desirable
    • Lifeguard Instructor License.
    • Tertiary Degree in Business or Recreation and Sports Management.

Skills and Experience

  • Highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capability, with experience driving performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
