Job Title: Aquatics Operations Manager

The successful candidate will oversee the supervision and effective operation of a team responsible for aquatic environments. This role ensures that staffing levels, deployment, training, and compliance align with industry standards and health and safety regulations.

This position requires a proactive leader who can manage day-to-day operations, oversee performance, and contribute to a safe and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of staff, including deployment, rotations, and roster management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, record-keeping, and reporting across all aquatic operations.
  • Conduct audits and enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the leadership team.
  • Act as a member of the emergency response team, providing direction during incidents and participating in emergency response activities.
Requirements:
  • Educational Requirements:
    • Aquatics Supervisor Certification.
    • Alive Solutions Dispatch Smart certification – to be obtained and maintained.
    • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Aquatics Instructor Certification.
    • Tertiary Degree in Recreation and Sports Management.
    • Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Fluent English.
    • Strong leadership and supervisory capability.
    • Excellent communication, written and verbal, and high level of interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of guests and team members.
    • Project management skills.
