Job Summary

This role involves ensuring targeted operational risk assurance across the business, overseeing controls to support alignment with strategy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of control design and implementation, recurring risks and controls review, and resilience assurance.
  • Second Line risk representative on relevant risk forums, project working groups and steering committees.
  • Analysis of risk profiles, incident and issue data, assessment of Key Risk Indicators and preparation of insights for fact-based reporting.
  • Support the development of key risk management framework artefacts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management roles.
  • Experience in dealing with business management, operational risk, model risk, technology risk, project, product, or process management issues in a financial or related institution.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels to clearly communicate good risk management practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial services regulatory and compliance considerations.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to deliver solutions to risk issues.
