Business Development and Market Growth Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive business development and marketing strategy for our energy industry group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the industry strategic plan, aligning with firm strategy and collaborating with key partners and the broader team to unlock profitable growth.
  • Work closely with the Industry Leader and key stakeholders to deliver industry priorities and develop client account management strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert with deep understanding of the energy industry, including market trends, competitors, and client needs.
  • Counsel partners and lawyers on strategic business development advice.
  • Lead pitches and collaborate with colleagues to apply industry insights to bids.
  • Drive client conversations to maintain client intelligence, nurture relationships, and uphold service excellence.
  • Identify opportunities across business units and support the formation of cross-business unit teams to pursue opportunities and strengthen pipeline.
  • Qualify and develop high-quality client-facing materials and precedents with compelling value propositions.
  • Collaborate with the brand/marketing team to design and deliver client and market engagement strategies.

About You

  • 7+ years' experience in business development or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability in strategic planning and client account management to deliver commercial outcomes.
