We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in the delivery of commercial and residential new build projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in ensuring the safe, coordinated and successful delivery of projects. This includes contributing to the production of project documents and plans, compiling accurate scopes of work for subcontracts and reviewing subcontractor plans for compliance with project specifications.
Additionally, the Contracts Administrator will ensure that all subcontract and supply agreements are in line with project and company contractual and legal requirements. They will also administer project management, change and control processes in accordance with project plans, contractual and legal conditions, time bars and administrative timeframes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager in the delivery of projects
- Contribute to the production of project documents and plans
- Compile accurate scopes of work for subcontracts
- Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project specifications
- Ensure subcontract and supply agreements are in line with project and company requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
- Solid experience working as a Contracts Administrator on large commercial / residential new builds
- Understanding of commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts
- A working knowledge of major building trades
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs
