Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Team Leader to oversee the performance of a large team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to lead and inspire their team to achieve production targets and adhere to standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the performance of a large team to meet production targets and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Build and promote a positive and efficient team environment
- Daily management of the business to achieve planned/budgeted KPIs, cost outcomes, safety measures, performance standards and service levels
- Complete administrative tasks associated with managing the team including management of leave, time and attendance and injury management
- Effectively communicate with team members and key stakeholders
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in systems and processes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and managing teams to meet objectives
- Strive to be a true leader, with a proven ability to lead, inspire, engage and recognise your teams achievements
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Possess a proven history in coaching and mentoring others
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as WMS and TMS
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft suite
- Forklift Licence is a requirement
- Safety focused
