Experience in an acute patient-focused healthcare facility or hospital is highly desirable, as is proficiency in MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Additionally, this role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including 7-day rotating rosters. We also value experience with web-based hospital systems, although it is not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Greet all customers and handle their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Prepare admission paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform health fund checks as required.
  • Manage the collection of emergency department deposits, health fund excess/co-payments, and out-of-pocket fees.
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and process medical records.
