Job Overview
The Clinical Director of Emergency Services plays a pivotal leadership role, overseeing three busy Emergency Departments serving a population of approximately 1 million people. This position requires effective leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to optimize clinical outcomes and performance.
- This role partners with the Deputy Director – Operations Emergency Services to provide clear accountability and direction through the application of quality systems and evidence-based practice.
- The Clinical Service Director may be required to work across all campuses both clinically and non-clinically as part of their leadership and management responsibilities.
- This role oversees the implementation of Medical Professional Governance and Medical Professional Practice across the Clinical Service, aligning with our vision for connected, collaborative, engaged, and aligned Medical Profession.
About You
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine
- Current specialist medical registration with AHPRA
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high-quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
