Emergency Department - Critical Care Registered Nurse. Employment Type: On Going Part Time (PT). Location: Northern Health (All Campuses).

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.


About the Role

The Critical Care Registered Nurse is an experience clinician accountable for the delivery of quality patient care and outcomes in a manner consistent with the professional code of conduct, legal requirements and organisational policies and procedures, within a framework of continuous quality improvement, and economic resource utilisation. The Grade 2 Registered Nurse or Midwife will work within scope of practice guidelines.


Qualifications
  • Post Graduate qualification in Critical Care - Emergency
  • Ability to commit to 7-day rotating roster (including Night Duty)
  • Proven ability to manage complex patients in a critical care setting
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
