Tax Management Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee tax compliance, advisory and planning services for a diverse client portfolio. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax return preparation, liaising with regulatory bodies, providing strategic tax advice and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, including individual, company, trust, partnership and SMSF returns
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws, including income tax, GST, CGT, FBT and payroll tax
  • Provide tax planning and structuring advice to clients to optimise tax positions
  • Conduct tax research and provide written and verbal advice on complex tax issues
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding tax matters, audits and disputes
Key Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently
  • Experience in using accounting and tax software
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities to support junior team members
