The role of a Tax Manager involves leading tax compliance activities and driving the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust taxation procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax compliance activities and provide tax advice associated with state and federal taxes, including income tax, transfer pricing, goods and services tax, fringe benefits tax, PAYG installments, payroll tax, employee share schemes, stamp duty, and withholding tax.
  • Promote tax risk management and corporate governance protocols over regional tax matters and establish internal processes and reports for tax reporting purposes.
  • Communicate relevant tax changes and provide technical training to business units.
  • Identify scope for continuous improvement in gathering data and completing administered taxes.
  • In cooperation with the Group Transfer Pricing team, ensure transfer pricing is commercially viable by adopting prescribed methodologies and performing comparative benchmarking as appropriate.
