Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Team.
You will lead and inspire a high-performing finance team to deliver timely, accurate, and strategic financial insights that drive business performance and inform critical decision-making.
Your role will encompass: Oversight of monthly financial reporting, performance analysis, and business KPIs Strong governance and robust accounting controls Strategic financial planning and support for group-wide initiatives Oversight of Risk Management, Modern Slavery Reporting, and ATO compliance Coordination of Board and ARMACC reporting Evaluation of strategic investment and M&A opportunities Investor relations and Corporations Act compliance (as Company Secretary) You may be an experienced Financial Controller (or equivalent senior finance leader) looking to step into a CFO position—or a seasoned professional looking to continue adding value at the executive level as you transition toward a reduced full-time commitment or semi-retirement.
You will bring: CA or CPA qualifications, with a relevant tertiary degree Demonstrated experience in mid to large public (unlisted or listed) businesses A background in manufacturing or consulting environments Experience engaging with U.
S.
markets or customers, including knowledge of U.
S.
tax compliance A collaborative and strategic mindset, with the confidence to operate within a founder-led, entrepreneurial business M&A transaction experience (highly desirable) This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth of a successful Australian medtech company with a strong international footprint.
