About This Role

Delivering a high-profile subdivision project in Mackay as part of a dynamic civil construction team, you will oversee technical planning and site coordination to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. Your role will involve overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring alignment with project timelines; coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to maintain a smooth workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination & Delivery: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide construction activities and ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and council requirements.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee the implementation of quality assurance procedures and uphold safety standards to promote a culture of zero harm.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, council representatives, and internal teams to ensure expectations are met and foster strong relationships with local authorities and community stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and support the Project Manager with forecasting and cost tracking.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in civil construction, ideally in land development or subdivisions
  • Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, roads, and utilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • White Card and valid driver's licence
