We deliver high-quality civil, construction, general maintenance and remediation projects across the Bowen Basin. The Opportunity:

Due to continued growth, EMS is seeking experienced Civil Construction Supervisors to join our expanding team. Based in the Bowen Basin, you'll be responsible for ensuring that works for a range of civil construction projects with a focus on civil works being performed on site are done so in a safe manner, and in line with the Clients' and EMSs' standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations
  • Manage labour, plant, and materials to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients and project managers to maintain progress
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues effectively

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in civil construction
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Strong knowledge of civil works (drainage, road construction, concreting, landscaping)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans/specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Current driver's licence

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Coal Board Medical or Health Assessment (Mandatory)
  • Standard II Surface (Mandatory)
  • Supervisor G1,8,9 and G2 Certificates (Mandatory)
  • 3-5 years' experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leading hand or supervisor position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • RII machinery tickets highly regarded (Excavator, Skid Steer, Telehandler, High Risk EWP)
