Civil Construction Roles – Mackay & Gladstone Regions

Roebuck Civil is a well-established civil construction company specialising in water and sewer infrastructure projects across Central and North Queensland. With active projects from Gladstone to Townsville and west to Emerald and Charters Towers, we are currently seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our growing team.

Work Locations:

Mackay Region

  • Sewage Pump Station upgrades and refurbishments

  • Preference given to Mackay-based applicants

Gladstone Region

  • Sewer and water pipelaying in a large industrial estate

  • Gladstone-based applicants preferred

  • Mackay-based workers welcome to apply: carpooling available (depart Monday, return Friday)

  • Accommodation provided food reimbursement for those travelling

Current Opportunities:

  • Pipelayers

  • Skilled Labourers

  • Operators

  • Truck Drivers

What We're Looking For:

Ideal applicants will:

  • Have a strong commitment to safety

  • Be responsible, reliable, and team-oriented

  • Be able to work effectively in small teams and remote environments

  • Understand productivity expectations on civil projects

  • Show initiative and problem-solving capabilities on site

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Valid Driver Licence

  • Construction White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)

  • Basic computer literacy (or willingness to learn) – we operate a paperless system for timesheets and job reporting

  • Relevant industry Certificates of Competency

  • Machinery tickets (for Operator roles)
