About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Employee Relations Lawyer, reporting directly to our Head of Legal. As the Group's key point of contact for specialist ER advice and guidance, you will operate in a fast-paced retail environment, providing fair and consistent legal advice in line with our COG values and tone of voice. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the business on complex ER cases, representing the business in ER disputes, managing industry negotiations, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution. You will also help enable global HR teams by taking a proactive approach in delivering training in ER.

Key Skills and Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house role
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in employment law, ideally in retail
  • Great communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to build and influence strong working relationships across all levels of the Group
  • Exposure to global markets is highly regarded
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, agile working environment is preferred
