About this role

This is a critical position within the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW, responsible for delivering high-quality support to the President, Judges, Commissioners, and commission users. The successful applicant will have an in-depth understanding of the broad types of matters filed in the IRC.

Main Responsibilities

  • Performing statutory functions as outlined in the Industrial Relations Act 1996 and associated legislation;
  • Conducting case management, directions, and hearings in accordance with Practice Notes, applicable rules, and legislation;
  • Hearing and determining applications under delegated authority;
  • Providing high-level legal and procedural advice;
  • Mentoring the Deputy Industrial Registrar;
  • Ensuring the efficient and lawful operation of Registry functions.
