About Flooring Contractors, our client is a leading contractor specialising in large-scale commercial, retail, and residential projects.

They are now seeking a Project Manager with a sales mindset to oversee flooring projects from concept to completion while identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to business growth.

This role oversees flooring projects and will be the vital link between clients, installers, and suppliers – ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the highest standards, while spotting opportunities to add value and win repeat work.

  • Manage flooring projects from tender through to installation and handover
  • Liaise with architects, builders, contractors, and suppliers
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for future projects
  • Support the sales team with project insights and contribute to tender submissions
Requirements
  • Previous project management experience in flooring, fit-out, construction, or interiors
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A natural relationship builder with a commercially minded, sales-focused approach
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications
  • Results-driven, proactive, and confident managing multiple stakeholders
  • Flooring industry experience highly desirable, but related sectors will be considered
