About the Role

Mecwacare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Support Specialist to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting clients in living independently at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including domestic cleaning and personal care.
  • Providing domestic assistance throughout the clients' home and meal preparation.
  • Supporting community access and transportation to appointments.

  • Casual position with flexible start and finish times.

About You
  • You are empathetic, respectful, and reliable.
  • You hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or first-year Bachelor of Nursing.
  • You have completed your First Aid and CPR training.
  • You have a Valid Victorian Driver's Licence, comprehensive car insurance, and reliable transport.
  • You are available at least 2 days a week, during business hours Monday to Friday.
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per annumA Day in the Life of an In-Home Support Specialist

As an In-Home Support Specialist, you will work independently, supporting clients with daily living tasks, household assistance, and transportation. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, making each day unique and rewarding.

  • Daily living tasks, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Household domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Transportation, including taking clients shopping or to appointments.
