About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to support our clients in living independently at home. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including domestic cleaning and personal care.
  • Providing domestic assistance throughout the clients' home and meal preparation.
  • Supporting community access and transportation to appointments.

About You
  • You hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or first-year Bachelor of Nursing.
  • You have completed your First Aid and CPR training.
  • You have a Valid Victorian Driver's Licence, comprehensive car insurance, and reliable transport.
  • You are available at least 2 days a week, during business hours Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate can expect to earn around $28-$35 per hour, making this a rewarding and well-compensated opportunity.

A Day in the Life

As a Direct Care Worker in home care, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, making each day unique and rewarding. You might support clients with daily living, household domestic assistance, and transportation.

You will spend between 1 - 2.5 hours with each client, depending on their care needs. A Victorian Drivers licence and car with comprehensive insurance is a requirement for this role as you will be travelling between clients' homes, and could also travel with a client to the shops or their appointment.
