Motorcycle Response Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motorcycle Response Officer to join our team. As a key member of our incident response unit, you will play a critical role in providing timely and effective assistance to motorists on major roads and highways.

About the Role:

  • Provide first response services to traffic incidents as a Motorcycle Incident Response Officer.
  • Work closely with emergency services and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and efficient management of incidents.
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including 4WD utilities, attenuator trucks, and tow trucks, to assist with all aspects of civil maintenance support.
  • Ensure optimum safe lane availability and relay up-to-date information to the public, supervisors, and the wider response team.
  • Perform emergency make-safe activities for road network restoration and return roads to normal operational condition.

Requirements:

  • Motorcycle and MR drivers' licence (zero court cancellations or suspensions).
  • Highly experienced in motor cycle operations.
  • Construction white card.
  • Ability to work both day and night shifts.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Level-headed and calm when working under pressure with strong self-awareness.
  • Incident management experience (minimum 5 years).
  • Full working rights in Australia.
