About the Role
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to our Early Childhood services, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our clients and staff.
As the first point of contact, the successful candidate will be the face of our organization, providing efficient, professional, and customer-service-based reception coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the CFC reception area, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Provide administration support to our Deadly Kindy's, Child and Family Centre, and visiting services, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Commit to a high level of quality management, utilizing our LogiQC quality management systems to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing continuous quality improvement processes, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
- Demonstrate proficiency in software systems, technology, and desktop applications, including Microsoft Office and LogiQC.
- Cultivate productive working relationships with staff and clients, promoting a culture of respect, trust, and cooperation.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Business or Administration-related field.
- Minimum one (1) year's experience in a similar Receptionist or Administration-related role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and culture, as well as issues impacting health and wellbeing.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, with good keyboard skills and attention to detail.
- Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or eligibility to apply.
- Valid police check.
- Current driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organization.
- Experience working with young children and families.
