Job Summary:

As an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report regularly to senior management\
  • Monitor legislation, perform controls testing, conduct daily review and clearance of onboarding and transaction monitoring alerts, and log AML/CTF incidents or breaches\
  • Create, implement, and maintain internal policies, procedures, and systems for AML/CTF compliance\
  • Develop and manage relationships with regulatory authorities\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective AML/CTF practices\
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards\
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees\
  • Assist in the development of business strategies to minimize AML/CTF risks\\

Requirements:

\

3-5 years' experience in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing roles

\

Relevant tertiary qualification (business, law, economics etc.)

\

Thorough understanding of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing acts and rules

\

Demonstrated hands-on experience managing relationships with regulatory authorities

\

Eligibility to work in Australia permanently

\

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

\

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

\

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

\

Familiarity with Australian laws and regulations

\

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

\

Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
