Job Title: Document Information Specialist

Job Description:

The Document Information Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and quality of records management within our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of current record management principles and practices, as well as experience working with electronic document and records management systems.

This specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate classifications and metadata to ensure data integrity. They will operate our information management system to capture, register, and assign incoming correspondence as digital records.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining quality and accuracy by attaching appropriate classifications and metadata to records.
  • Operating the client's information management system to capture, register, and assign incoming correspondence as digital records.
  • Identifying records in response to customer requests.
  • Ensuring service targets are met to support our customer-focused section.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of current record management principles and practices.
  • Tertiary qualifications in records management or industry-recognised professional training in records and information management.
  • Experience working with electronic document and records management systems, such as Micro Focus Content Manager.
